Online PR News, 9-December-2010 - New Year’s Eve in Washington, DC 2011 promises to be an uplifting and soulful night as the GRAMMY Award-winning artist Regina Belle comes to La Fontaine Bleue in Lanham, Maryland to perform live on stage on December 31st 2010, from 8 PM to 3 AM. Saxophonist Marcus H. Mitchell and Guest DJs will round out the night with a range of Jazz, R & B, Old School and Hip Hop.

In addition to the live music show, guests will be treated to an all-you-can-eat buffet from La Fontaine Bleue’s top chef, champagne toast at midnight, and continental breakfast at 1 AM. There will be an open bar and premium beer served to clientele.

Belle is best known for her duet with Peabo Bryson, “A Whole New World,” from the soundtrack for Disney movie Alladin. This performance resulted in a Grammy award in 1993 for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal, and won the Best Song in the Oscar’s in the same year. Belle has gone on to win three more Grammy awards since.

Over the years, Belle has continued to sing, write and even produce moving music in the genres of R & B, Top 40, and most recently, Gospel. Her latest album, entitled “Love Forever Shines” showcases 14 spirit-filled tracks such as “God Is Good”, "Almost Slipped," and "I Hope He Understands.”
